This workshop is designed to update instructors for TCA, TCAFP and STCA. If you have not attended the FP or Seated course and would like these additional certificates, please contact Cathi for additional paperwork and an additional fee.  

TCA Part 2 will contain nine new movements of the TCA form, the teaching method, and how to teach the program safely.

It is required that participants purchase and study the DVD and Teaching Tai Chi Effectively book.  See below under registration for ordering information.

To assist the study and to qualify for the passing certificate participants will need to fill in release /waiver, application form, and questionnaire before the workshop, and then pass a written quiz and demonstrate the form. To receive the final teaching certificate you will need to be board certified with Tai Chi for Health Institute. This is an annual fee. Please see link below.

TCA TCAFP STCA Recertificationand TCA Part 2 Instructor Workshop

REGISTRATION is a 2 Part Process:

Part 1: Please register on-line.  If you are already a certified instructor, you will need to login to the website to register for this workshop.  Use the "Lost Password" link to reset your password if you are having difficulties logging onto this website.

TCA Update and TCA for FP, Seated and TCA2 . Please check the appropriate boxes.

Part 2: Additional payment/waiver form:  This will be sent to you. Please fill, copy latest TCA TCAFP STCA Certificates and send with workshop fee to Cathi’s address below.

Lunch is not included. However, you may bring your brown bag lunch. Lunch available at hospital cafeteria.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing and flat athletic shoes suitable for exercise. No open toe or back sandals allowed.

Registration Fee includes:  Completion/Approval certificates for TCA, TCAFP, STCA and/or TCA2  –  light refreshments – Lunch –  Resource book/ manual as e-book

Participants will need to order Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 DVD and/ Teaching Effectively soft cover book or eBook.   After on-line registration and payment is received a discount code for 20% and order information will be furnished.  It is required that participants purchase and study the Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 DVD and selected chapters from Teaching Effectively book prior to the workshop.

Recertification TCA - $135 includes seated    March 28

TCA Part 2 $150 early bird/ $175 after Feb 27    March 29

$50 Just for Fun Per day. Attend to update your skills without a teaching certificate.

$25 extra CEUs

Late fees after March 14 and at door add $50;  Cancelation fee $50; Refund: 50% after 2/27. No refund after March 14 unless filled by waitlist. Medical reasons reviewed.  After cancelation fee, a voucher for future classes is given.
