I built a career in Telecommunications which presented diverse job opportunities, such as answering operator services calls, collecting & analyzing data for billing, monitoring & repairing equipment, supervising groups of clerks & technicians, programming billing systems and auditing project managers’ processes.

At the end of 2010, I retired to spend more time with my aging father. As the chaos of retirement settled down and routines resumed, I stumbled upon a tai chi class at the local health club. One class and I was hooked. That class was a Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA). And the rest is history.

I began teaching the TCA program in 2011. I am now a certified instructor and Senior Trainer. I hold classes in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where the curriculum currently includes: Tai Chi for Arthritis. As classes develop, I plan to offer one or more of the following forms and programs: Yang 24, Sun 73, Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Energy and Tai Chi for Rehabilitation, Tai Chi for Heart Conditions and more.

In 2014, I co-taught at the Veterans Administration Clinic in the Poly Trauma recovery program for Veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries with anger management and/or chronic pain concerns. Some of the Veterans in the program have expressed positive feedback for the impact Tai Chi has had on their healing journeys.

Outdoors is my favorite place to be. My spare time finds me gardening, photographing nature, sewing and jigsaw puzzling.
