Paulette Zeran

Paulette Zeran, 8th degree Black Belt, has been an instructor with the Vero Beach Karate Association for over 35 years, and is certified by the American Council on Martial Arts since June of 2000.

Married with three children and now five grandchildren, Paulette learned the Yang long form in 1989 from Dr. Miranda, and began teaching it in 1991.

Seeking ways to better serve her students, Paulette attended Dr Lam’s TCA workshop in Bradenton Florida in 2001, and her tai chi for health journey began. With the full support of her Karate leaders, she offered classes in TCA at the Vero Beach Karate Association from 2002 to the present.

Since 2001, Paulette has continued her Tai Chi for Health training including TCA, Sun 73, Depth of TCA, TCE, TCR and Updates.

In 2004 she coordinated a TCA Instructor workshop for Pat Lawson and Caroline Demoise at the HealthSouth Rehabilitation hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. In November of 2010 Paulette coordinated a very successful TCA certification workshop for Pat Lawson. Five of her students have, with her support, completed TCA Instructor certification programs and just recently (2017) coordinated a Tai Chi For Energy and Rehab workshop with Dr. Paul Lam and Master Trainer Pat Lawson.

Paulette'
s goal is to be able to host more trainings in her region in order to anchor and strengthen the tai chi for health programs.

Paulette sums it up beautifully, “Since becoming involved with the TCA program there have been so many students who have benefited by this training and I would like to continue teaching tai chi as long as I can. The blessing for me is in sharing what I learned as I reap the benefits as well.”
