About this class

This class is a slow-paced class teaching Tai Chi for Arthritis. There is no enrollment for the class and everyone is welcome. We focus on the warm-up, learning the form, and our cook down. There is a lot of repetition. Regular attendance is beneficial.

Sarah Tobias

Sarah began practicing Tai Chi in the fall of 2019 at her health and wellness center to help her with fibromyalgia pain. She continued to practice on her own through the the first year of the pandemic. When she was able to rejoin her class, she was excited to learn Part two of Tai Chi for Arthritis. In 2022, she began to think that it would be fun to share her love of tai chi with others and with the help of her teacher, she found a class and became a certified instructor of Tai Chi for Arthritis, fall prevention, and Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 in May of 2023. She currently teaches at her health and wellness center and will be offering a class for Aetna insured retirees in August 2026.

When she isn't teaching tai chi, Sarah is creating children's books author and illustrator. She is also a Laughter Yoga teacher, Master Naturalist and Nature Journaling teacher.
