About this class
This Tai Chi for Arthritis/Tai Chi for Energy Review Class is held in the ground floor exercise room in the Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital Outpatient Center, across the street from the Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL with easy access from several area expressways.
All students should be familiar with Parts 1 and 2 of both the Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention and the Tai Chi for Energy forms to be eligible for this class. This class will focus on building independence and confidence as we work on applying Dr. Lam's Tai Chi Principles to the forms. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions on your eligibility for this class.
Each 1-hour class will begin with warm-up exercises and followed by work on one or both of the forms before finishing with cool down exercises. Please wear comfortable clothes and comfortable, supportive shoes to this class.
Additional Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention classes are often available, as well as classes in Tai Chi for Energy Part 1 & 2, and the Yang 24 Forms. Please contact the instructor, Diana Nielsen, at TCAFP.DN@GMAIL.COM for more information on these classes or for any questions on this program.
