Experience personalized Tai Chi instruction from the comfort of your home. This 30-minute private online session provides focused, one-on-one guidance tailored to your experience, mobility, and goals. Thirty minutes is great for ongoing accountability and maintenance, or even an introduction to Tai Chi.

We’ll work with slow, intentional movements designed to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, stamina, and body awareness while emphasizing safe movement and joint protection. Whether you’re new to Tai Chi, looking to refine your practice, or seeking a low-impact way to stay active as you age, each session meets you where you are. Practical, approachable instruction helps you build confidence, move more comfortably, and develop skills you can continue practicing every day.

Russell Mickler

"If Tai Chi can do just one thing—prevent a fall—I feel it’s done its job."

Background: Russell is a lifelong martial artist who believes that balance, mobility, and movement are essential to maintaining a high quality of life at every age. He holds a Black Belt in Shaolin Kung-Fu and a Black-Red (Black Belt candidate rank) in Taekwondo.

Teaching Approach: Direct, accessible, and practical. He brings the principles of an ancient martial art into a modern setting, combining traditional Tai Chi with functional exercises designed to support long-term mobility, cardiovascular health, joint comfort, and physical and mental well-being.

Personal Philosophy: Tai Chi as a practice for aging with grace and energy, helping people preserve the freedom to keep moving, stay engaged, and continue enjoying the things they love. Motion is lotion!
