Discover a gentle path to greater balance, flexibility, and relaxation in Tai Chi for Health and Wellness. Designed with middle-aged and older adults in mind, this welcoming, in-person class combines slow, flowing movements with mindful breathing. Tai Chi can help improve coordination, support strength and mobility, reduce stress, and promote a sense of calm. Move at a comfortable pace while building body awareness and connecting with others in a supportive setting.

Background: Russell is a lifelong martial artist who believes that balance, mobility, and movement are essential to maintaining a high quality of life at every age. He holds a Black Belt in Shaolin Kung-Fu and a Black-Red (Black Belt candidate rank) in Taekwondo.
Teaching Approach: Direct, accessible, and practical. He brings the principles of an ancient martial art into a modern setting, combining traditional Tai Chi with functional exercises designed to support long-term mobility, cardiovascular health, joint comfort, and physical and mental well-being.
Personal Philosophy: Tai Chi as a practice for aging with grace and energy, helping people preserve the freedom to keep moving, stay engaged, and continue enjoying the things they love. Motion is lotion!

How to join
No previous Tai Chi experience is needed. All are welcome. Bring water and wear loose-fitting clothes and comfortable shoes.
Join us on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. for sixty minutes devoted to moving well, breathing deeply, and supporting your health and well-being.
