About this class
This is a gentle, friendly, fun class. Beginners and all levels welcome. We have chairs for sitting or holding onto when working on balance. Ages 60 and up.
Denise Lane
Denise Lane started learning Tai Chi many years ago. In the late 1990's her Shifu (Master teacher) told her it was time for her to start teaching Tai Chi. Reluctant at first, sharing the art of Tai Chi soon became a passion. Denise now enjoys teaching at the Durango Senior Center and the Durango Recreation Center. Most recently Denise became certified to teach the Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention form. 5 Element Qigong
Denise has previously studied and practiced: Yang Style Tai Chi, Tai Chi 42 step, and 48 step forms, Tai Chi straight sword (32 and 42 step forms); Chen Tai Chi, as well as the internal Martial Arts of Bagua and Xing-I. www.SageMtnHealth.com

How to join
Please arrive early as there is a waiver and a basic assessment to fill out for the Senior Center. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and sturdy, well fitting shoes.
Classes are run independently by the instructor, so please confirm schedule, pricing and how to join with them directly.
