I have had a life time experience of teaching different skills and so when encouraged by my Tai Chi instructor to become an instructor myself, I jumped at the opportunity. I completed Dr Lam's online instruction during COVID lockdown and was delighted to pass the Zoom online exams to be a qualified Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention instructor. I now thoroughly enjoy teaching a weekly group of residents in the Lifestyle Retirement Village in which I live. We include and welcome outside students if places are available. My approach to Tai Chi centres around the group energy created by practicing together and ensuring that my class is relaxed and enjoyable. We socialise with green tea after each session.
