Certified in Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA), TCA Part 2, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention (FP) and Seated (TCA), Tai Chi for Energy (TCE) Part 1 & 2, Tai Chi for Beginners (B) & Tai Chi for Life (L). Took the Depth of TCA Fall Prevention from Dr. Paul Lam October 2016 & 2019. Learned the forms for Tai Chi for Energy Part 2 with Dr. Paul Lam and his Master Trainers (MT) prior to the annual Tai Chi Workshop in June 2014 and the 73 Forms enhanced with MT Jeff Morris and MT Bill Pickett during the week long workshop. Studied the Combined 42 Forms with MT Marty Kidder at the June 2015 Tai Chi Week long Workshop and in 2018 with MT Cathi Knauf. Assist Hei Takarabe, MT with Workshops. Learned the Yang 24 forms from Dr. Stephanie Taylor, MT Emeritus on weekends and learned more depth from Hong Yang in October 2018 and Dr. Paul Lam in October 2019. Teach TCA and Fall Prevention with Seated (TCA) as well as TCE at senior centers on the Monterey Peninsula. Hybrid classes are being taught via Zoom and in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Background in Modern Dance, horseback riding and many sports. Emphasis on balance and safety.
