"Tai Chi Walking (Part 2)"

Monthly Tai Chi for Health Forum - Time Zone 2

MAY 2026

Tai Chi Walking has become popular on social media and on YouTube. Ann Swanson was the guest speaker for the March Tai Chi for Health Forum that focused on what Tai Chi Walking is, how to do it and how to share it well. Ann demonstrated the technique of Yang style walking in a natural setting. Many who attended the Forum asked for a continuation on the same theme with a demonstration of Sun style Tai Chi Walking.

Master Trainer Becky Rahe will be joining us at the May Forum for Part 2, as she demonstrates and invites you to join in lively side-stepping practice and a fun drill of circle walking for brush knee we know in the Tai Chi for Health set Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention and stepping common to Sun Style 73 Forms. We hope you will join us for what Becky describes as "Beauty in the breath work, the mystique in mindfulness of movement, and the power in practice of principles and posture while keeping harmonies between hips/shoulders, nose/navel, hands/feet, elbows/knees as expressed through Sun style stepping”.

The main purpose of the Tai Chi for Health Forum is to connect with everyone and to share knowledge and friendship. Each month there will be a theme topic, addressed by Dr Lam and invited expert/s. There will be time for questions and comments sent prior, time permitting. You will also have an opportunity to enjoy meeting other participants from all over the world. It is a great way to learn and share as a member of the global tai chi community. Connecting with other tai chi enthusiasts is so helpful! Afterwards, a link to the recording will be sent to all registered participants.

Registration in advance is required. Please email your questions or topics of interest at least two days in advance to service@drlamtaichiworkshops.com. Please put “Forum” in the subject line.

Be sure to register every month!
