Becky Robel

Becky is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS), and Parkinson Disease Fitness Specialist (PDFS), Board Certified Tai Chi For Health Instructor and trainer since 2011. She is a Medical Fitness Professional, and is the Founder of Tai Chi Iowa. With more than 25 years of experience, she is certified and insured to lead evidence-based fitness programs designed to empower people with Parkinson Disease and other chronic conditions. In addition to her many certifications, she also has a Bachelor of Science degree.
Accomplishments:
1.) Tai Chi IOWA (Founder)
Iowa Falls Prevention Coalition Board: Pre & Post Balance Test Results from Robel’s Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention class at UnityPoint Health, submitted to Washington/received Iowa Grant in 2017; results presentation at 2018 Iowa Gerontology Conference in Des Moines.

2.) American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Iowa Chapter: Robel started pilot class with DMU students to teach ballroom dance and partner with people with Parkinson’s Disease in 2017 and 2018.
