Pamela McNutt
Bio
As a physiotherapist, Pamela could see how this type of exercise would benefit many patients – as well as herself. She attended her first Tai Chi for Arthritis workshop with Dr Paul Lam in 2004, gained her instructor certificate and has been teaching TCA and incorporating it into her treatments ever since.
Pamela runs regular private weekly classes and classes in physio out-patients. This style of Tai Chi is safe and effective for many conditions and students have fun learning. As well as reporting physical improvements students also report improved relaxation and mood.
Pamela gives talks promoting Tai Chi to various Community Groups, Health Promotion Groups and Social Groups, and this has resulted in classes for Fibromyalgia Groups and Chest Heart and Stroke.
“It is a great buzz when a class starts to work together and people feel that they have ‘got it’ and tell you so with a big smile.”
