Tony Garcia

Tony is a Master Trainer certified in the Tai Chi TCA form by Dr.Paul Lam.
He also teaches The Yang 24 form, Sun 73 and has taken workshops on In Depth TCA,the Chen 36, Combined 42 form, Tai Chi at Work, Arthritis parts I/II, Back Pain, Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Tai Chi for Kids.
Tony is an instructor certified and insured to teach Tai Chi and Qigong (ch-kung)
He has studied Qigong forms with Grand Master Shifu Jiang Jian-ye including Ying-Yang Medical, Qigong for high blood pressure and Chinese yoga with healing Qi.
He also studied Incense Qiqong with Master Wei Lun Huang and Tai Chi and Qigong workshops with Master Wu, Wen-Ching. Tony was also an instructor with the Taoist Tai Chi Society and studied martial arts for over 30 years. He has a Black Belt and taught Tae Kwon Do with Master Ji Ho Choi. He has studied Aikido with Shihan Jose Garrido and participated in Shotokan training. He has studied different forms of Tai Chi for the past 15 years in the US and Australia.
He has demonstrated and taught in centers throughout Dade and Broward counties, including hospitals, fitness centers, universities, retirement homes, public parks, libraries and the Miami-Dade County Mayor’s Fitness Programs. Stories of Tony’s work have appeared on Channel 7 News, Univision, TVC studios, Mega TV, The Miami Herald,
El Nuevo Herald and Sun Sentinel.
Through his practice, Tony meets people from all walks of life, and enjoys seeing people’s health and functionality improve with Tai Chi. He is certified in CPR and has master level Reiki training. “With Tai Chi, people learn to relax and increase awareness. Muscles are strengthened, flexibility increases, balance and posture improves.
Tony has seen marked improvement for many with health problems and is rewarded to see “people find ability within their disabilities.”
In addition, Tony focuses on Tai Chi for the workplace and corporations. His practice has been utilized to improve workplace productivity and performance.
