Details

The Tai Chi @ Work was designed by Dr Lam, tai chi players, and business professionals as an innovative way to share the secrets to manage stress and turn stress into a source of strength.  This tai chi set of forms is compirsed of versital segments of time to place throughout the day and can be enjoyed as a team building opportunity.

Workshop Specifics:

New Additional requirements for Zoom beyond Workshop times:

  • Prior check in (tech check and review of form) before workshop to be scheduled on individual basis after registration of class.
  • Post check in's to review form and stepwise on indivdual scheduling

Materials Included:  Tai Chi @ Work DVD, Teaching Effectivly book or poster of Warm ups

Have near you: Chair without wheels, water & snacks, cell phone to text any troubles

This workshop is designed with New Instructors to this program in mind.  There are several required elements in order to complete and then pass.

The Steps to Success are:

1. Register (Register minimum of 3 wks prior prefered):

  • Email the Host if there is any trouble doing so. 
  • Email and address are required so materials can be sent. 
  • Meghan will send an invoice to confirm new or recerting, allowing Credit Card or check payment to made

2. Pre- Workshop: (Required to have working knowledge before the workshop)

  • Receive materials and review them(DVD,  Teaching Tai Chi Effectively book or poster).  Allow 2 weeks for this prep work.
  • Individual Tech Check(1 hr session)- Prepare Technology and Space (Aug 30) 

3. Workshop:

  • This workshop will be 2 FULL days 
    • Sept 2 9am-4:30pm ET
    • Sept 3 9am-4:30pm ET
  • Post check in's to review form and stepwise on indivdual scheduling (Sept 4 or 5))

*** Technical issues do arise and flexibility is needed if sessions are interrupted.  Sept 4 is the backup day to allow for adjustments.

Items needed at workshop:

Chair without wheels, shoes, snacks, pen & paper for notes, and cell phone to text any troubles.

In order to pass, there is a knowledge check & a forms check.  Safety is first in mind, which is why the CDC recommends us, so it is up to the Master Trainer to make sure you have key pieces to keep the Program Safe & Effective.

Seating is limited to 9 participants.

Once registered and confirmed the needs of the workshop, Meghan will send you an invoice.  Credit cards or check are accepted.
