Maree Chadwick

Bio

Maree, an experienced Occupational Therapist, first learned TCA in 1998. Maree switched from O.T. to teaching Tai Chi after discovering its great benefits in Fall Prevention and Relaxation. Having developed a passion for Tai Chi, she toured China in 2001 then attended several Paul Lam workshops in Sydney and Monterey. Her studies included Yang 108 and Yang Fan, 42 Forms, Sun 73, 73 In Depth, Exploring the Depth of Tai Chi and Qigong forms including Wild Goose and Shibashi. Maree is certified in TCA, TCB, TCD & TCK.

Maree commenced training Leaders for Arthritis Victoria in 2002, becoming a Master Trainer in Tai Chi for Health throughout Victoria until 2009. She has taught TCA, TCD and TCB for classes with students ranging from 5 to 93 years of age, in Community Centres, Rehabilitation, Day Therapy, Veterans and Corporate classes, also to individual students. She has also given public demonstrations for Local Health Week, Children�s Week, Veteran�s Week, View Club, etc.

A keen traveller, Maree enjoys sharing Tai Chi with people she meets in different countries. The energising effects of Tai Chi and its health benefits are life affirming, so Maree is eager to continue working as a Senior Trainer within the Tai Chi for Health family.
