TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITIS 2 - Instructor Training Workshop
NOTE: Instructors with a current TCA/TCAFP credential and current Board Certification fee are eligible to attend this training.
This workshop will be conducted virtually using the Zoom platform.
New Certifications:
For this training, there is a requirement to attend the equivalent of 1 day of training using the Zoom platform, and then attend a 1-hour virtual practicum with the Master Trainer.
Preparation for this training includes reading the book Teaching Tai Chi Effectively, and working through the DVD Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 or using the online lessons - Online Tai Chi Lessons | Tai Chi for Health | Dr Paul Lam. In addition, a recording of your attempt to perform the Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 routine is required to be submitted. The recording will be done on the Zoom platform (or MP3) and the link sent to the Master Trainer a minimum of 7-10 days before the training.
The virtual training is scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern time. This training will be conducted via Zoom. There is no charge to use Zoom (you do not need a paid account to attend the training). No travel is required for this training.
For the practicum, the 1-hour session will be scheduled individually during the three weeks after the training component is completed. The training completion certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the virtual assessment.
Registration closes on March 2, 2026.
Instructor Recertifications:
No recertifications are being done as part of this training.

Cost:
Certification: $200. Early bird registration is $175 if payment is received by February 23, 2025. A discount code to purchase the DVD, Tai Chi for Arthritis 2, or subscribe to the online lessons will be provided, if needed.
Cancellation: After February 27, a $50 administrative fee applies.
