Tai Chi for Diabetes is based on the Sun and Yang styles of tai chi and is easy to learn, effective and safe. It will improve health and wellness and i designed to prevent and improve the control of diabetes. Tai Chi for Diabetes is a programme specially designed by Dr Paul Lam in conjunction with a team of medical specialists and tai chi experts and is supported by Diabetes Australia.

Who is eligible to attend this training? Diabetes Educators, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Certified Allied Health Assistants, Diversional Therapist, Health Practitioners, Nurses, Tai Chi teachers and advanced Tai Chi students.
Your trainer: Rosalie Rudduck is a physiotherapist and master trainer in the Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention and other Tai Chi for Health programmes with the Tai Chi for Health Institute. She has Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. Rosalie has worked extensively with people of all ages and has special interests in fall prevention and healthy ageing.
Preparation: Each participant needs to be familiar with the movements in the Tai Chi for Diabete programme (DVD available for $29.95) and the textbook "Teaching Tai Chi Effectively" by Dr Paul Lam (available in hard copy $21.95 or e-book $9.99) before coming to the workshop. Board Certification: Following successful completion of this two day intensive course, you will be required to register to become a Tai Chi for Health Institute Board certified instructor in Tai Chi for Diabetes before teaching the programme (if not already a member). Annual fee is $25 (Standard Membership) or $45 (Premier Membership) regardless of the number of certificates you have.
Instructor Certificate $410 (early bird $390 paid in full by 1st March 2019).
Tai Chi for Diabetes Update $200, additional updates $40 each (no early bird).
Attendance Certificate $310 (early bird $290 paid in full by 1st March 2019).
Cancellation is subject to a $50 administration fee.
