Zoom: TCA2 New Instructor & Updates w/Bill & Linda

Virtual TCA2 New Instructor Qualification Class - 1-Day Workshop

For Zoom classroom activities everyone will need:

• Internet access on computer w/camera

• Latest Free Version of Zoom (many beginner tutorials are available using Google)

• To have a viewing area for Master Trainer to view the entire body profile from head to toe on camera when doing the form (please test this before the scheduled Zoom session)

TCA2 New Instructors need:

• To be previously certified in the TCA and/or TCA Fall Program (TCAFP) Program

• To be prepared by studying Dr. Paul Lam's TCA2 Instructional DVD or access to his Online lessons.  Suggested also is Dr. Lam's book "Teaching Tai Chi Effectively". These can be purchased at https://www.taichiproductions.com.  (20% discount code for products that can be used in this workshop is MTWS20) '

• Send video recording of TCA form - 19 moves - 2 weeks before TCA2 workshop

• Prepare for the TCA2 workshop

• Attend the TCA2 Instructor Qualification Workshop (be prepared!)

TCHI Updates other than TCA:

• Register for the workshop, additional instructions within 24 to 48 hours after registration.

After the workshop:

The final step to be listed on the website as a Board-Certified Instructor is to pay a small annual fee of about $25 USD.  Instructions and a link for this payment will be sent to each participant who successfully completes the workshop.  This will be discussed in more detail at the workshop. TCA2 Instructor Training Workshop and Zoom Session(s) with Master Trainer and both pre and optional post-workshop (there is no failure, we will work with you until you are ready as an instructor)

$150 - TCA2 New Instructor Certification - 1-Day Workshop

$Add 100 - Recertification TCA package w/attendance to TCA2 workshop (TCA Update Homework will be required)

$50 - Other TCHI updates will be done as requested - additional homework is also required
