New instructors must attend both full days of training. Updating instructors are required to attend Nov 5, but may attend both days at no extra charge for enhancement.
Location: Crane Tiger Tai Chi Studio, 4395 Hamilton Drive, Eagan, MN 55123

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Check-in from 8:45 a.m. Please arrive promptly so we can begin on time. Instructors Updating are welcome and encouraged to attend both days for the Update fee.

Workshop Preparation:
Materials: Participants need to obtain the Tai Chi for Diabetes DVD and Teaching Tai Chi Effectively Book.

View and practice the TCD form with the DVD, online lesson, or Stage 1
Reading assignment: Chapters 1 – 8 plus chapter 11 of Teaching Tai Chi Effectively.
Paid participants will receive a Welcome letter with a discount code to order preparation materials from Tai Chi Productions, the online bookstore. Prior preparation with the DVD and reading assignments is required to gain the most from the workshop and prepare you to successfully complete the requirements for certification.
Note - to be certified, passing participants need to become board members of TCHI, which has an annual membership fee.

Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing for ease of movement and comfort, including layers. Please bring indoor, flat-soled shoes to change into.

Food: Lunch and snacks are on your own. We will have a short morning and afternoon break and a half hour for lunch each day.

First-time Certification: Early Bird $290; after Oct 16 $315

Updates: Early Bird $150; after Oct 16 $165
TCD participants may update TCA2 and/or TCR for an additional $50 per form

If you wish to attend Sunday afternoon to Update TCA2 or TCR cost is $135 per form. You may add on the 2nd for an additional $50

Cancellation policy: 50% refund until Oct 16, no refund after Oct 28.
