Details
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is based on the Sun style of Tai Chi and is easy to learn, effective, and safe. Regular practice improves flexibility, muscle strength, and balance, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recommended it as an effective fall prevention and arthritis management activity.
The Tai Chi for Arthritis programme was designed by Dr Paul Lam in conjunction with a team of medical specialists and Tai Chi experts. Scientific studies have proven its effectiveness in assisting with pain relief, quality of life, balance, and fall prevention.
This one-day intensive in-person workshop is the second part of your training. The first part is a self-paced learning package SIPP—see Preparation below.
