Requirements for Master Trainers
SIPP
The Self-paced Instructor Preparation Package (SIPP) for each program is available for free to all Master Trainers. You must complete the relevant SIPP of the program you are updating.
After completing a SIPP, you will receive a SIPP Certificate of Completion. Please submit your SIPP Certificate to service@drlamtaichiworkshops.com at least two weeks prior (no later than May 23, 2025).
If you have already previously completed the SIPP of the relevant program, please re-do the program, and submit your previous SIPP Certificate to the team along with a brief description of what you learned from re-doing it.
TCA Suite
TCA Suite Update includes Tai Chi for Arthritis 2 (TCA2) and Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis (STCA).
Apart from completing SIPP-TCAFP, you will also receive complimentary 1-year access to TCA2 OLL and STCA OLL.The relevant links will be sent to you by the Tai Chi Workshops USA team. Please prepare by completing the programs prior to the workshop.
Assignments
Master Trainers are also required to complete assignments for the relevant program/s you are updating. Assignments can be found in MTMP (inside the "MT Update and WS Assignments" folder). The 2022 versions are the latest versions.
Please submit assignments to service@drlamtaichiworkshops.com at least two weeks prior (no later than May 23, 2025).

Requirements for Senior Trainers
SIPP
Senior Trainers are required to complete Self-paced Instructor Preparation Package of TCAFP (SIPP-TCAFP) before attending.
Upon registration, you will receive a link to access SIPP-TCAFP for one year by the Workshops team as part of your ST Update fee.
If you are updating additional programs, you must also complete the relevant SIPP/s of the program/s you will Update. Please allow suitable time to complete the required SIPP online learning material (valued at $80 each, included in your Update fee). After you purchase an Update, you will be sent a link to access the relevant SIPP by the Workshops team.
After completing a SIPP, you will receive a SIPP Certificate of Completion. Please submit your SIPP Certificate to service@drlamtaichiworkshops.com at least two weeks prior (no later than May 23, 2025).
If you have already previously completed the SIPP of the relevant program, please re-do the program, and submit your previous SIPP Certificate to the team along with a brief description of what you learned from re-doing it.

Fees
NOTE: Non-refundable booking and payment processing fees will be added at checkout.
The cost of tuition is the same as the Updates workshops of the previous several years:
MT Updates:
- TCA Suite Update - $640
- Other Update/s - $320 each
(max total $1280)
ST Update:
- Required TCAFP - $250
- Other Update/s - $50 each
(max total $350)
COMMUTER FEE
This is an additional charge that must be paid by those who are not staying at the venue. Please include this option as an Add-on when registering for the workshop.

Accommodation
You must book your own accommodation separate from the Workshop fee.
Please book your accommodation directly with the venue (Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center) as they are offering us a discounted group rate through this reservation link:

There are two different accommodation types:
- The Terrace Hotel - a contemporary hotel close to the lake.
- Lake Junaluska Apartments - a comfortable, economical solution. Most apartments have efficiency kitchenettes. Note that Wi-Fi is not available.
Rates displayed are for each room/apartment. You can choose to share accommodation to split costs or stay by yourself. Participants wishing to share a room with a roommate are responsible to make that arrangement on their own.
A deposit fee equivalent to one night, charged to a credit card, will hold your room/apartment. The Conference Center will only accept one credit card for a room charge. Roommates will work out the split bill with each other. The full amount will not be charged until June 2025.
Accommodation is limited in number. First come will get first choice.

COMMUTER / BOOKING ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION
Those who are not booking accommodation at the venue must pay an additional $50 Commuter Fee. Please include this option as an Add-on when registering for the workshop.

- Closing date: April 30, 2025. Late fees apply.
- Cancellation fees: $100 until March 31, 2025. No refunds from April 1, 2025 onwards.
